Tamarind - Tribeca

The waiters are really good trained but that’s the only good thing I have to say about this place. The dishes were not typical Indian, the taste is adapted for Americans and is not Indian. Go somewhere else if you want to eat real Indian food, it’s way too overpriced for that what you get for. Just some items had an authentic taste, the rest were not good at all. I recommend you that restaurant if you want to eat American-Indian food and not real Indian food.

I eat here a lot since I work nearby. I love how their customer service is always good and they keep the spot well kept constantly. Rates are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

Made a reservation. We were seated and no one took a drink order or gave us menus for nearly 20 minutes. The second star is because the manager did try to call and make it right. A little too late though.
